We went to Newton for dinner after the celebration. Haaha.. they were all yelling at me coz I was still working in the office. So i had to return last sunday to complete my work and to clear my stuff. We ordered stingrays, sotongs, prawn mee, soup, chicken wings... yummy!!







They gave me this polaroid camera!! I lurv this camera man! Can view the photos instantly and the pictures it takes are quite complimenting. heehe.. which means tt everyone will look nice in it. Cool huh?






A scarf, a box and a lipstick. Haaha.. M told me tt i can makeup myself sometimes. Funny.. do i look too plain? hmm... okies, i'm a plain jane. haaha... tts normal mah. I want to be just a normal ME.






Da Jie made this box specially for me.. haaha, she's quite a hands-on person. She knows how to make many stuff. But this box looks like a ciagrette box rite? I use it as a card holder to store my polaroid pictures.






They all gave me a nickname "Winne the Pooh". Faintz... This is my birthday card. They even used a pooh wrapper. aiyoz... Everything revolves ard the theme "pooh and friends". haaha






























I still have a set of cuff-links and a necklace with complements from SCB. A star necklace from dear Eleen... a sounevoir from this intern... and also, lotsa lurv from all my OL colleagues. hurray!! =)

My last day in SCB was a memorable one. Haaha... it was my last day.. and they also celebrated my birthday for me.

My desk... haaha. Superb untidy isin't? Can't help it la.. I just cleared it the day before.. and by the next day, its messy again!











Haaha... They celebrated my farewell in Fish & Co.. The funny thing is I didn't know why so many ppl turned out for the lunch. Some didn't even know who I am. snorez... but I got a free lunch! heehe...

Yupz.. I have started on my new job, in a new environment, with new colleagues. Haizz.. my 1st wk at work sucks big time! My heart seemed to be beating very fast... and I need to wear a digital watch to work to remind me that i have to do different things at different time.

9, 10, 11, 12, 1pm have to collect the faxes and distribute it. This already took me about 20minutes (minimum). But this is not just my portfolio!

At 945, 12.45 and 3.45pm I have to pack the things ready for the courier man to send it to another office.

And sometimes I can walk out to the main door to collect reports sent by the courierman. Idiotic. That explains why I'm so tired by the time i reach hm.

Faintz... I have to keep reminding myself of the times I have to do these things.. and its making me bonkas. My chair doesn't have the chanced to be warmed up by my butt.. coz I keep walking ard and running ard doing all kinda stupid stuff.

I miss my ex-colleagues... haiz. Not tt my present colleague aint nice.. but sometimes i feel left out coz they maybe so busy until they're skipping lunch, or lunching in. So.. on wednesday I was having lunch alone. so pathetic huh?

I pray i'll be able to move out of this horrible place asap.

I've to report early to work tml coz my mentor will be on half day to attend a course. So... al the best to me huh? I hope I won't mess things up. Haiz...

This coming week is my last week wid SCB... went for dinner with my colleagues. Discussed with them.. they're all sad that i'm leaving. But since they can;t promise me anything, so i shld move on rite? I'll be back when the time is ripe. haaha

The theme for the D&D was "Colours".. hence tt explained our dressing. Ppl dressing up as Dowager Ci xi, Shanghai nite, Korean costumes, Mexican costumes... even retro funky coloured wigs and masks!

I went home with 2 door gifts coz 2 of the trainees who were suppose to sit with us went to sit with another table instead. heehe... And there were lotsa food left coz instead of havin 10 ppl to fill the table, we only had 5! faintz...

well, Im using my own laptop now. YoOOo0o0o...! My mom ask my elder bro to buy 1 so tt i can use, and also share wid de rest of de family. Not bad la... coz the laptop is in my rm now. HAAHAHAHA!! Huge screen.. but thick.. hmm. what do u expect? 2cm thin? wait long long long....

hmm... got an offer from another place. haiz... im tinking if i shld switch. Everday tink until headache... kns! there are pros and cons of switching la. But i'm hesitatant coz i like my colleagues, my boss... though thr are a few i hate la. but overall everybody is nice. Love them to bits... haiz. Why why why? gimme sth i wan lei...!! tian ah....

This friday going company's dinner & dance.. haahaha. Funny... tot i can wear sth nice.. who knows, da jie, said we'll be dressing up. Haaha.. so end up i'll wear Hanbok to D&D on friday. funny... guess it'll be diff from the D&D in the television shows.

aiyoz... so many ppl celebrating birthday this month. 2 in my family, 2 of my best friends and 2 at work. faintz... and i've been stuffing cake into my mouth everywk in the month of November! haahaha...

Last wk was Gramma's birthday.. we went Pariss International at Marina Sq for lunch. I didn;t eat alot, but felt so bloated after that. Everyone else too were bloated.. so we cut the cake and had sweet soup (Tian Tang) for dinner. Funny huh? I had 4 shishamo.. it was quite nice, but the eggs in it was horrible.. i was scooping away the eggs and made a horrible mess on my plate. haaha.. My eldest aunt bought 90 small eggs (wat do u call them in english??). It was superb high in cholestrol! My cousin had 10... aiyoz..

Yest was daddy's birthday.. as usual, he and my mom went for their candle light dinner. They went to this China Meridien hotel... Daddy said the ambience was quite good. And while he was having his candle light dinner, my elder bro brought chilli crabs, deer meat, yummy tofu from the zicha stall. Wat a sumptous dinner.. haaha, coz he tot daddy was going to celebrate at hm. The crab was huge... it had a whole lot of high cholestrol eggs too!

haaha.. i'm going to my company's D&D.. D&D stands for Dinner and Dance la. No idea what to wear.. 1 colleague was suggesting we wear old sch uniforms. Oh manz... unlike last yr's D&D, its going to be held at Suntec convention hall this yr. Faintz.. last yr was at Westin i think. haaha... I don't relive my JC graduation nite nitemare again. I looked like a MammaSan... lolz. Wat a joke!

Needa join the gym soon... not going to gain more weight anymore.

Went to east coast park with S and M. They're my pri sch frenz.. haaha, so fun! Looking at S's poked nipples.. I was trying so hard not to stare... LOLz... anyway, the sun was so hot till M got a burnt shoulder.. and my arms were a little darker. But everything was so fun... maybe i shld make it a routine to blade every wkend. Came hm and slept like a log...

This coming thurs is D and H's birthday.. think i'll buy them a cake to celebrate in office. And Jin and Dot will be celebrating theirs early on sat.

birthday, birthday and MORE birthdays... lolz. It is the cakes tt are freaking me out. I lurv cakes.. but its too much this time round. Today is only 12 Nov.. and i already had 3 cakes!

maybe we can think of something new.. instead of cutting cakes, maybe we can cut a bun or.. ice cream cake! hmmm...

Oh god... i really miss studying life MINUS the exam part. haiz... everybody seemed so distant nowadays. I only hang out with my 2 best frenz and reserve most of my fridays with my colleagues. Life at work is superb boring... but thank god, I have wonderful and fun colleagues. Phew...

The gd news is that they're extending my stay till early January... hence I still have ard 2mths. Till den... i'll still carry on look for jobs. Well, i really hate to leave... but i guess thr really isnt a place for me. haiz.. perhaps i'll ask them during late December (only if i'm still out of job) haaha...

tired... i even 'ta bao' work hm.. actualli i can manage my work load la, but i just though of finishing it quickly, just to set aside extra time if they want to change stuff last min. yap... i always wonder how is my work performance... I wonder how they'll rate me. Gd? bad? average? or its way below average? haiz...

I just received this project (and tts y im bringing work hm to do)... and its the 1st time I'm managing a project all by myself. It doesn't only involve my line manager.. but also another manager from another dept... tts y im so stressed. I hope i can do a gd job and leave a gd impression. =(

Stupid bitch ask me to help her feed A3 size paper at the printer.. stupid. why can't she walk over and do it herself? I'm not oblidged to help her lor... so i told her directly in the face that...

I HATE HER!! i am seriously irritated by her... irritated by her EVERYTHING!

yest went to my colleague's (da jie) hse for steamboat dinner.. alot of left overs. While eating, one of my colleague keep saying funny things and made me luff till i nearly cried and had face cramps. haaha...and they story they made up regarding me and this other guy (Mr G) who is single in the office is spreading! =( I hope such things won't go round the whole office.. very paiseh one lei. They keep wanting to matchmake me and him 2gether.. so awkward. And the gals are also saying why another guy (Mr N) who is married, has so much things to say to me.. FAINTZ!!? Wah piangz.. why always link me up to these rumours.. haiyoz. I jump into the yellow river also cannot wash away these rumours. jialat man!

After dinner we stayed back to play majong... i tot we were going to play till morning. ha.. but we stopped at 2plus. everybody was feeling so sleepy... haaha. Kev drove us back home..cool!

i'll be on leave till nxt thurs.. so meanwhile i'll see what i can do at hm. I'm going to be out of job soon. Last day at SCB will be on 10Nov. haizz... i'll miss every1.. sianz.. havta readapt to new environment, new colleagues, new lunch khakis...everything new!

I'll be going to my aunt's hse for dinner later... long time didnt see her already. She's my aunt from my mom's side. Probably haven't seen her for more than half a yr already... =(

In what way do u think it will help their economy?” Huh…?! Since when I have to take International Business out of classroom and to apply it in office? Faintz… another guy asked “so.. who, in your opinion, is gd looking in the office?” WHATT?!! I nearly died and flew to heaven. Haiyoz.. don’t ask me such questions la.. so paiseh lei!! Esp when the rest were quiet and looking at me.. half expecting me to answer his question. Errmm… I kept fidgeting. We shld spend less on food manz... to help me save some $. I bought a dress and a red top... haaha, nowadays u can find many dresses at bugis village at quite a reasonable price. My dress costs $22.90.. affordable huh?

anyway... Hui was telling me abt this deal she sawsomewhr... backpack tripto europe for 21 days.. it costs US$1400+ excluding the air ticket.. hmmm. I was just tokin to my mom de other day.. and funny.. she readily agreed that i shld expose myself to such 'experience'. Lolz.. she's ready to sponser me.. but of coz.. i havta pay her back. Nth is free leh.. haaha

Well.. i haven found myself a perm job. haizz.. quite sad. I wonder if thr's something wrong wid my resume.. isit badly written? hmmm.... sianz. I'll be taking a few days leave on the wk of hari raya. haaha.. I'm not celebrating hari raya la... but i'm taking a few days to recharge myself.. and find some time to send my resume to more companies. I always feel so tired during the wkend.

And at the same time, i was given another assignment to create a powerpoint for this lady.. and was told this work is urgent. Ok.. happily, i started my work on the lappy... BUT!! also happily forgotten abt the printing!! arghhh... only after my supervisor came back 1 and half hrs later den i realised i totally forgotten abt it!! tian ahh....!! =(

haiz... nearly strangled myself. how blur can i be? wah lao... so pissed with myself! how incorrigible! sianz. suppose to end work at 5.30pm on fridays... but! i stayed till 8pm tring to finish printing the papers... damnit man! and i'm still not done wid it. havta go back early on monday to finish it. the most frustrating thing is tt my lappy sucks big time.. and so does the printer. stupid lor.. always waste my time doing stupid things. e.g. the printer doesn't collate even when i've pressed the button on the lappy. so in the end wat did i do? separate a stack of 8 sets of 51 pages long paper. irritating!! arghhh....

and i stayed till 9.15pm on thurs.. also to find myself standing nxt to the printer. tian ahhh... can't they buy a better printer? sheesh! i spend 12hrs at work... can u imagine tt? and 12 hrs later.. i find myself back in the office again. wah!

i still haven't find myself a perm job lei... i'm i too slack? but everytime after work i feel so tired already! as for wkends.. sometimes i'm out.. sometimes i just don't feel like doing anything but to rest, watch tv and read gd storybk.

haiz.. tokin abt work. i was so angry wid this pretty gal in my office. i tot i nearly screamed at her! how gd and efficient can someone be when ur asking another temp for help? meaning... she herself is a temp.. and she's askin me for help! ok... u all can reason and judge this urself. Since she asked for my help.. it only explains tt she's very busy rite? so if she's real busy... den why isit she can leave the office so much earlier den me? it only goes to explain tt she can cope with it herself... so why ask for my help? i think sometimes i'm being too helpful already. correct or not ah? haizz... but i felt quite bad yest when trying to reject her. but after thinking over it... it was worth the reject. coz i stayed till 8pm! while she left at 7pm i think... eesh...


and.. this is the best part... when another lady was asking both of us abt our progress and how we feel. she rasied the issue of a pay increase. I agreed. But after serious thinking... i tot it was quite unfair. Wat did she mean she wants a pay increase? i felt it wasn't fair!

Its a TEMPORARY job.. meaning i'll be getting paid per hourly. =(.. sadded. haizz... so meanwhile, i'll still keep a lookout for other jobs. hopefully i'll be able to extend my work there. Oh.. i have not mention.. i'll be working at Standard Chatered Bank at Plaza by the park.. so ppl, feel free toask me out for lunch if ur nearby k? hey.. recently i have this urge to go on a holiday again. I keep wanting to go somewhr cooling so i get the chance to wear the windbreaker i bought when i was in China. haaha... hmmm.. i guess it'll be months before i can get to travel again. haiz... sianz la!! work work and nothing but work. haaha...

tml going sentosa wid shir and her frenz... supposedly we're all from the same sec sch. haaha... how funny. they planned to have dinner at pariss international... but i told her its too ex! dinner thr during the wkend will cost $50++!! I'm broke manz... realli i am! Yesterday went shopping wid hui and june... bought 4 tops for my work and interview.. hmmm... while shopping half way, saw jus and sm at G2000. haaha... how coincidental!

darn... now i even resorted to using the lib's computer to do my usual online blogging... coz my bro's comp is down, and he simply just refused to lend me his lappy. stupid... i was so damn pissed with him the other day when i was rushing to send my resume to answer for an advert on the newspaper. i was sooooo bloody angry tt i nearly strangled him with my hands...!

hmm... seems to me tt everyone is busy with their own lifes now... seldom i hear anyone organising any activities nowadays. Gosh.. i miss the gd old days when we had so much fun back den! heehe... am i the only one who's slacking now? hmmm...

i'm quite embarrassed with my new hairstyle.. really, i think the lady had cropped too much of it. hmm.. i look like some lunatic escaped from the MPH... yikes! oh ya.. i got it straightened so tt my hair won't looked like some weed or grass...haaha. but tt costed me a bomb too! haiz.. i'm income-less.

oh... blogging in the lib is so diff.. coz i feel so much uneasy typing, i always turn ard to check to make sure thr is no one standing behind me to read wat i've typed... lolz.

woww... wat a tiring wk manz.

Woke up at 5.54am on sat to go jogging at bedok stadium, but was told it was closed for a private event. So i ended up jogging ard the park. haaha... so hardworking rite? I thought i chld sleep for the whole of sat noon, but ended up in Marina sq to meet jin, and later flora... we went to the baybeats at esplanade. The music played by Plain sunset was quite nice... yet i was disgusted by the crowd.. There were many pespiring and sticky ppl ard.. and while pushing thru the crowd, some guy's shlder rubbed against my cheek! yucks.. arghh, it was damn disgusting!! Later in the nite met up with sy and Hm at the prata shop near my hse to have supper together. Wat a super duper tiring day...

I spent my sundae with Jr and gang at Macritchie reservoir... heehe. It was my 1st time there. I didnt run la.. but we walked. It was ard 10.3km.. haaha. By the time we reached the end, i was exhasted, even started stoning already. muaaahha... it was quite a gd exercise though...

okies... i shall jog whenever i can... wahh seh, so healthy. lolz

haaha... watched an exciting soccer match btw France and Italy on Sunday nite... aiyoz... france nearly won if only number 20 jersey didn't kick a high goal and it rebounced out. Sheesh... and funni, duno if Zidane wanted a cool ending for his career... he head butt this guy from Italy.. and got himself a red card. Lolz.. real cool huh?

Supposed to go jogging for everyday for this wk, but was having cramps yesterday... i'll go jogging starting frm tml k? yeah... i need lotsa encouragement and support! lolz... Go go AGAH!!

Finished watchin my vcds... hey Jus... i really can finish the 24discs in 2 days u know... haaha. But coz i was too busy over the wkends, so i started only on Sunday nite when waiting for the soccer match to start. Full House is a nice show... shld go rent and watch.

See! At 1st i thought this actor is quite ugly... but after watching the show, i thought he is actually quite cute. lolz... His name is Rain/ Bi.. he's a Korean singer and dancer.











































And actress Song Hye Kyo is sss0o0o0o pretty and cute in the show - Full House. Aiyoz... even i'm drooling over her pretty face. haahha...so i can understand why guys are also doing so.



Even with specs.. she can also look so pretty. faintz... muaahhaha

Oh manz...! Italy managed to kick in 2 goals in the last 2 minutes of the extra time! arghh... Even though i support the Germans, but den I havta admit tt the Italians deserve to win. I duno... somehow i think players like Klose, Ballack, Lahm or Schneider are quite gd players. But den the Germans seemed to be lazy... they always wait for their fellow players to pass them the ball and to wait for the ball to roll at their feet. Seldom I see them running forward to their teammates to help them!!

I nearly got a heart attack watching them play last nite... wah piangz... duno wat they doing. Germany had so many chances of scoring, yet they seemed to had too much energy. They either kicked their ball too high up, or they kick their ball to far away from their teammates. Hadn't they learnt their lesson when kicking against Argentina!?? They're making their mistakes again!

Okies, so now with Italy in the finals, who do u think will be their opponent? France or Portugal? Hmmm... France has old and experience horses like Zidane, Henry, Viera and Ribery.. but den Portugal also has their powerful team including Figo, Ronaldo and the superb goal keeper - Ricardo! I think i'll root for France. heehhe...

With my favourite team Brazil out of the picture... everything seems to unpredictable now. haaha... My gramma woke up half way to peep at me in the living room, I told her thr's live soccer match. haaha... she somehow understood wat I was saying and didn't nag at me to sleep. Daddy came down during the extra 30mins. Funny... I tot guys in my famiy aint interested in soccer. I think I must have influenced him?? lolz...

Tonite will be another exciting match... GO FRANCE GOAL!!!! =)

Day 6 - Our last day in Taipei...




This is the Hong Shao Niu Rou Mian (roasted beef noodles) near Bo Ai street. We had to dig thru our wallets and coins just to pay for this meal, coz we were both broke. We didn't know the Taiwan bank wasn't opened on Sat. Lolz.. This bowl of noodles costs NT$140 = S$7!! Expensive huh?! But i think it was quite worth the money, coz the beef is quite tender and its a very big bowl.





But pity this restaurant doesn't seem to have a name lei... i can't seem to find it. But it has a long queue of locals waiting to fill their stomachs with their delicious noodles.














Hey! Since when we visited America?? Lolz... if not how come thr is this statue of liberty?

Jin's cousin's taiwanese friend bought us dinner at this chinese local restaurant. Heard from them tt S'pore's Stefanie Sun always frequent this restaurant whenever she is in town to promote her songs. =)






This was what they ordered. The noodles are the best! The soup is just superb... though it tasted like the normal prawn soup noodles in S'pore. But the best part is tt the soup is refillable. So we can drink to our heart's content!






































After dinner we went to have dessert!! lolz... This is the famous dessert stall at Yong Kang Street. Many ppl order this mango ice kacang with mango sorbet on top. Don't drool pls... heehe.
