Now for part 2 of the trip...

Daddy and mummy with the pork seller. They seem to know the couple who was selling pork at the local mkt...

This is the supposedly 'old folks home'. haaha... The elderly men always gather here for a puff, to watch tv, or just to play chess... =)

These are the women from the family... so many huh? lolz...

5 daughter-in-laws and 2 daughters. Aiyoz.. so many.

Fire crackers!!! yeah... my cousin had a great deal of fun playing with different kind of fire crackers. Some how, I didnt have the enthusiasm like him. Perhaps I've really grown up??

A table of handsome guys... muaahaha... All of them call me their 'gu gu' which means aunt. ! of them really looked like a HK actor. They are all young and promising... 2 already in uni, 1 in jc and 1 in sec sch.

This is the temple we went to pray. It drizzled the whole day, making the temperature to drop to almost 15degrees. And mind u, 15degrees there is so much different from the 15degrees your aircon can go. It is so much cooler! I had to wear 4 layers to keep myself warm enough.

No la, this is not Great wall of China... I just posed for fun coz my mom said the red lanterns look pretty... faintz... haahaha.

EEkks!! Help I forgot to close the door!! haaha... faintz

Can't u see I still had my pants on? duhz...

My mom had a hard time controlling her laughter and taking this picture for me. Lolz.. We went to this porcelain gallery to take alook at what China make out of the porcelain they got.

Actually the streets in China reminded me of those in HK. they look similar aint they? Only that the streets in China have many motorcars parked outside the shops... they just don't care.

Note: they lurv to sound their honk.

Actually I'm quite happy to be able to travel down to my ah gong and ah ma's old town to see what isit like... I saw with my own eyes how small their rm was when they got married. How the old town was like.. even though there aint any pigs and chickens runnings around like before. Haaha.. My relatives were very hospitable. They were very nice ppl, helpful and warm. Everyone seemed to welcome us.

We reached Guang Zhou at abt 3pm.. and booked a van immediately to bring us to Shan Tou. But quite unfortunately, the drivers didn't exactly know where the village was... so by the time we realy reached our final destination, it was already 10.10pm.. we didn't even had our dinner!! But our relatives immediately prepared some food for us.. much to my horror, they put lamb meat into the steamboat.. and hence everything tasted weird. So I swallowed a few fishballs and quickly drank the bowl of plain porridge.

This picture was taken when we stopped midway at Shan-Wei. The journey from Guang Zhou to Shan Wei took ard 3hrs. Faintz... My butt really hurts. Lolz..

And I was quite tired so I decided to get down the van and take some pictures. i was the camera lady for the whole trip.

This is for self entertainment purpose. Hahhaz... u can ignore this photo.

This is my irritating, yet adorable cousin. He likes to hug me.. duno y, perhaps becoz I'm very hugable like a bear... Trhoughout the trip he keeps yelling for me "Emily jiejie! Emily jiejie!' Sometimes can't tahan him. Sometimes he glares at me with his superb big eyes.. sometimes he like to make funny faces at me. See...! He even stole my snoopy pillow. =(
He is also superb duperb vain pot. Likes to pose for the camera... tsk tsk tsk.

This is the place we pray.. its called 'Ci Tang'. I duno what u call this in English...Ancestral hall?? Think they've renovated this place.. coz it looks quite new.

Do they look alike? Of coz la... They're siblings mah! My big aunt is now staying in China, with 5 sons and 2 daughters. Lucky aint she?

From left to rite: my uncle, my mom, 2nd aunt and big aunt
Heyoz... I'm back from China liao. But haven been studying coz I'm having fever. No la!! it's not bird flu...but inflammed tonsils only. Coz I didnt drink enought water... tts y... So I've decided to take another 2 more days to rest and to get well before I continue with my revision.

So while resting today, I went back to youtube.com to check if they have upload the 2 final episode of 'It started with a kiss' Taiwan drama series. And they did!! I really tihink its a nice show... like those u watch on tv. This show was aired on tv once many yrs ago in Jap version...

This is the finale of the show, when the guy realised he can't hide his feelings and to marry another gal just to save his dad's company.

I like the ending... and I think it is quite cute and funny. Hahha.

Enjoy!!

Okies... I haven't been blogging lately.. and this is the same reason as why u don't see me online tt often nowadays. Coz my computer's network is down.. I can only use my bro's lappy when he's either not ard, or when he's not using de comp. =(

Well, well... I think I've been in constant attention and figure of the discussions amongst the gals.. I think the reason for them to nag is becoz V day is ard the corner. Sorry I've gota use the word 'nag' coz u gals really can be longwinded at times. But thanx.. I'm appreciative of ur love, care and attention. Thanx gals!

Anyway, I'll be away from town starting frm this coming wed till nxt mon.. coz i'll be going on a short tripto China. Supposedly to attend my uncle's wedding.... BUT! they've postponed it..and we've already bought the air tickets. So now instead of going to Guang Zhou, we're going to Shan Tou.. My ah gong's hometown. Cool huh? I've never been thr...and this will be my virgin trip thr.. and 1st time i'll be seeing my relatives who speak Teo Chew..

Teo Chew is a language I find difficult to master since young... My late ah ma used to luff at my silliness... having to greet her 'happy chi new yr' at her birthday.. and greeting 'happy birthday' when it is during the new yr. Haaha... I thought I've always got it rite, coz I'll practise on the way to her house in daddy's car. Nevermind abt getting it wrong in the future.. haiz, coz I won't get to greet her again.

And time really flies... it'll be prelims in 2 wks time.. and den finals will come greeting us! arghh... stress stress....!!

Lastly, Happy Valentine's Day to all my frenz who are attached.. and those who are not, don't worry.. V day is also known as friendship day. So just enjoy this day with ur gd pals.. it's been a while since u all last catch up rite? hehhe...

Oh no...! Chinese new yr is over... and there goes the festive season. haizz... very soon, it'll be prelims and then.. the moment i dread the most, final exams! sianz

I wonder what is everyone thinking of nowadays.. is it coz V day is coming soon or what? They seem very keen to ask me to get myself a partner. FAINTZ... even my mom also does that. TIAN AHH...!!! Recently, one of my gf got attached.. and that prompted them toask when am I gona be like them. Why? I'm happily enjoying my freedom being single... I suppose thr are pros and cons abt being single and being attached. So why not let me enjoy my singlehood? Let me clarify myself.. I dont spend my every V day alone. V day is also friendship day! So its the time we 3 meet up and enjoy our yaya sistahood. lolz...

My mom just told me her colleague (aunt Jas) saw the photos we took in Korea.. and she commented I look like a 'fu puo' - meaning rich lady in translation. FAINTZ... and this aunt Jas happened to be from the women'sassociation or some sort of thingy. I had a gd laugh over it manz... funny.

Well, everything goes down to 'fate' rite? If things are meant to come, it'll come... But I really appreciate my gfs fussing over me. thanx ah...! but yet, no thanx... haaha.

Happy Chinese new yr everyone!
cheers! =)
