Hurray!! Our convocation is finally over... and I've never been so proud of myself before. It has marked the end of my university days. My university days hasn't been very smooth... it has filled with sadness and anger. But now, I feel that I'm a brand, new whole me. I feel differently, and hopefully, will act differently (in a better way).
Last Friday was my convocation, there were many ppl who attended this very important ceremony. I was kinda late and to only find that I've forgotten abt my motarboard. Many many graduates and their family have already crowded outside the main hall entrance. I rushed over to get registered... to only find another friend of mine standing behind me. Hahha.. she too, was late! After registering, we went to this rm to get help to get dressed. I saw many familiar faces, once again, felt so comfortable with these ppl, whom names I may not know.
After getting help with the graduation gown, i went to find my friends and together went to find out seats. I was sittig there feeling very confortable, until this guy came and sat nxt to me. Haaha.. we gals have gave him a nickname "Doodo bird", coz often, we see him walking ard in sch eating a banana. lolz... Anyway, it was awhile later, when the staff came up to me and asked for my seat number and my name card. i showed her, only to discover that I have taken the wrong seat!

I was told that my seat is actually at the other end of the hall.. faintz. Why can't they label the seats clearly. I mean, its so confusing.. we have seats that are a1, B2, C3.. and seats that are labelled as AA1, BB2 and CC3. Obviously we'll get it wrong ya? Anyway, I made my way to the other side of the hall.
We waited for the rest of the ppl to get settled in... and with the VIPs...
Graduates from other courses, diploma holders... blah blah.... I waited until my bum was getting so stiff... my course is the last course. haizz.. but luckily, I'm one of the 1st few to get on the stage to receive the cert and folder. Haaha... phew. From the booklet that was handled to everyone, I saw from the list that there aint many 2nd class honours students.. either tt, or the rest didn;t turn up for the convocation. Nevertheless, I still consider myself to be very lucky and blessed. =)
I took many photos... with my parents and friends. My mom even bought me a bouquet of flowers! heehe... I've never been so happy and yet tired. The other day when I was also this happy, was the day when I got to know my results when I checked thru the student portal. haaha.
But a pity tt gramma didnt turn up for the convocation, as she was in one of her 'moods' again.
After convocation, I went hm to rest and to pack my bag for our Tioman trip. I went thr with Hui... we both had a great time there. The sun, sand and sea... I really lurv the place. Its back to the nature... we even saw a mini waterfall. Its my 1st time swimming in the waterfall!! I was so excited. hahaa... even though was a little sunburnt. But we were happy! we even discovered this part of the island that is even betta den any other parts of the island. Its called the Juara Beach, located on the east side of Tioman Island. Nxt time, we'll visit this place instead.
During our trip, we also went to Reggis Island, where sharks have known to appear. I was kinda hesitant.. but I still went down nevertheless. I saw fishes that looked like mini swordfish, it scared the hell outta me. Haaha,.. I was splashing the water so that they'll keep a distance away from me. But Hui scolded me, coz it may make them attack me instead. Oops.. After getting on the boat, the tour guide told us that there was a mini shark that was just behind our butts!! Hearing this, it really freaked me out. One of our fella mates even swam round the island without her fins and life jacket! Our fella mates included a couple (husband frm s'pore, wife from Thai), a guy from Holland, 2 ladies frm France and Spain. Cool huh?

I am happy now... (except tt I've accidentally broke my specs while I was in Tioman, blame it on my clumsy fingers..)
Oh, and by the way, I got myself a new job.. Hopefully everything will be fine this time. I'll be starting on this new job on 2nd May, same time with Hui. I was telling her we shld compete to see who can stay longer on this job. haaha... its a kinda a gd competition eh?

There was sth wrong with the router at home, and hence I wasn;t being able to check my email for the past few days.
I open my mail box, and surprisingly, I received an email from the person at the agency, telling me that I have another appt with the lady from HR. Okies.. so I'm in for another round of interview.
*Thank god.. =)*
okies.. I'm praying very hard, counting my lucky stars.. and also hoping to being able to psycho them to select me. Hopefully they'll see me as a potential individual whom will help benefit the company. Haaha.. who am I kidding rite? Lolz..

Had a long talk with my immediate boss yesterday.. I stayed back till 8pm in the office (its okie, as long as I have OT to claim. hee!) We talked abt my future, if I wishes to learn other stuff.. Well, I gave her my suggestions and perspectives, not knowing whether it'll get into her head. Hopefully it does. I really hate the way things are being done in the company. It is too rigid, and now tt she talked to me, mainly because one of my colleague had already tendered her resignation. SEE!! These thick-headed ppl often do things the very last min. All along I've been hinting and outwardly potesting that I'm not contented to just doing what I do currently. I want MORE! Nobody cares... nobody listens to me!! =(
Now that they are threatened by this sudden departure of my colleague, they have to find someone suitable to fill her place. Hence in conclusion, I'm the backup plan. Hey! I'm not here to fill in somebody's shoe and to be only considered as a last choice... sheesh! I'm so pissed with them... I don't know what to say except to smile weakly. -_-|||

She asked if I'm feeling upset and angry recently.. well, of coz I said YES! haaha.. It is written ALL over my face. Come on man.. I'm here to learn, not to be kicked ard like a ball. And talking abt the qualifications, its not as if I don't have rite?

Oh God... My throat is killing me. For the past few wks I've been coughing non-stop, and it has gotten worse recently..
Went to see the doc again after work today... I have been voice-less for the past wk. Trying my best to speak up without having to cough in the midst of a sentence. I have problems hearing too, due to the swelling of my tonsils.. hence i've became so handicapped over these few wks. I simply hate this feeling. It really irritated me as I can't speak up!!!
Went to collect my graduation gown on sat, was irritated by how the way they worked. 5 ppl standing at the reception counter but only 1 lady was attending to whomever was seated at the counter. i was waiting impatiently after they served this guy infront of me. After sitting down, they began asking a series of qns like "which degree are you from?" "wat class honours?" blah blah. I have already told the lady.. and she spent like 5mins trying to search for my name... and made me repeat wat I've told her again. Wat kinda service is tt? hmmm...
Went for facial again after the collection... tried to control my cough while the beautician did her usual routine of cleaning and scrubbing.. and squeezing my face... and I fell asleep... as usual. Lolz..
Natas travel fair last sat with jin and dot, collected many fliers and info abt Australia. After tt we went to this indonesian restaurant for dinner.. their catfish was quite nice.. except tt all of it is fried.. and the chilli is powerful, although I only had a teeny weeny bit. After dinner we went to arab street.. the gals had sheesha (how do u spell it?)... I wanted too also.. but I was coughin madly. haaha..
Okies.. hopefully the medicine this time round will fully cure me... haiz

Hiya... Its been a long time since I lasy blogged. Haaha.. wondering what I've been up to?
Okies.. for the last few wkends in Feb, I've been madly catching up on the Taiwan drama "Hana Kimi" on YouTube. Hence, I have finished watching all the epoisodes, even b4 Channel U has aired the last few episodes. This is quite a nice show.. funny and romantic. Lolz.. Which leaves room for imagination. I even bought the soundtrack for this show. Nice huh...
This is one of the moments I like... heehe. Wu Zun is cute in this show. Nice OST too!
After "Hana Kimi", Taiwan will be airing this new show called "Re Qing Zhong Xia". It seems funny too!
Last wkend, I attended a wedding dinner. My fren from uni was getting married! How exciting. This is my 1st time attending a wedding dinner without my parents. My fren looked very pretty in her gown... haaha. It was unimaginable. I mean, frenz around me getting married and getting settled so early. Haaha. And I was desperately searching for a dress to attend the dinner.
This wkend, I am stucked at hm, coz I am down with tonsilitis (AGAIN!!) and having fever and cough. snorez... what a boring wkend huh? I hate to waste my wkend at hm. Supposedly to meet Shirley... but cancelled it last min. Sheesh!
Nxt wkend, I'll be dropping by Broadway Studio to pick up my graduation gown and mortaboard, and going for facial after tt. Hopefully to look at my best during the convocation. Yup.. by the way, my convocation will be held in sch, on 13th April..(FRIDAY THE 13TH!!). haaha.. I really hope tt I won't trip over my own feet and fall flat on my face. I wonder if I will cry.. hmmm. As u all know, it has been a rough period for me during my days in uni. haiz.. ok, lets not talk abt it.
Following tt, we'll be going down to CCK to pray to my grandpa... before proceeding to somewhr (either Paramount Hotel or Crystal Jade at Vivo City) for a feast. My mom was suggesting Vivo coz she hasn't step foot thr! haaha.. so 'sua gu'. At least I've been thr once. Lolz...

Hi all.. think it has been quite some time I last blog. Have been quite busy... haaha.. leading a very fulfilling life. Hmm.. well not quite, if your talking abt time for some personal space.
Work is busy... and is getting heavier as I've taken over some1's portfolio. I think the work load is crashing on me... I'm beginning to feel the strain. arghhh... Left office at 8pm, it was nearly 12hrs in the office. haizz...
I pray tt I will have my dream job soon. I want sth more challenging... but not so manual and hands-on like what I'm doing now. I'm planning to further my studies, but duno when I'm gona do tt la.
I miss sch days... so care-free (cept during exam time). I wish I can take a time shuttle to go back in time... when I had so much fun "playing" in sch. My cca... my dear frenz, Our laughter, our tears... our sweat. haahaaha!!
Those were the days tt I had so much fun... I miss being a kid... Grown-ups always have so much problems to worry abt. Abt our jobs, our family, money not enuff, time not enuff.. blah blah.
Just todae, I nearly choked over my own saliva. This auntie at the reception counter (a place whr I pick up my daily in-coming materials from other companies), asked me so mani qns...

Frankly speaking ah, there are many females over at my side tt I think the guys are on the verge to be converted into homosexuals. hahaha.. considering the fact tt many are WOMEN (i.e aunties). hahahhha... So everywhr we ladies bitch alot... tok loudly, luff loudly... no image at all.
Sianz... I feel so tired. This job really tires me. Physically and mentally. Physically coz I always havta carry the files here and thr... walk mani times to the cabinet to look for the files. arghhh
I can imagine myself to become a crazy women on fridae.. coz my coverer will be on leave.. which makes me become a SUPER-MAD WOMAN doing a 3 persons job.

These are the presents they gave me... but i didn't have the time to take picutres of all the presents...
We went to Newton for dinner after the celebration. Haaha.. they were all yelling at me coz I was still working in the office. So i had to return last sunday to complete my work and to clear my stuff. We ordered stingrays, sotongs, prawn mee, soup, chicken wings... yummy!!
They gave me this polaroid camera!! I lurv this camera man! Can view the photos instantly and the pictures it takes are quite complimenting. heehe.. which means tt everyone will look nice in it. Cool huh?
A scarf, a box and a lipstick. Haaha.. M told me tt i can makeup myself sometimes. Funny.. do i look too plain? hmm... okies, i'm a plain jane. haaha... tts normal mah. I want to be just a normal ME.
Da Jie made this box specially for me.. haaha, she's quite a hands-on person. She knows how to make many stuff. But this box looks like a ciagrette box rite? I use it as a card holder to store my polaroid pictures.
They all gave me a nickname "Winne the Pooh". Faintz... This is my birthday card. They even used a pooh wrapper. aiyoz... Everything revolves ard the theme "pooh and friends". haaha
I still have a set of cuff-links and a necklace with complements from SCB. A star necklace from dear Eleen... a sounevoir from this intern... and also, lotsa lurv from all my OL colleagues. hurray!! =)

My last day in SCB was a memorable one. Haaha... it was my last day.. and they also celebrated my birthday for me.
My desk... haaha. Superb untidy isin't? Can't help it la.. I just cleared it the day before.. and by the next day, its messy again!
Haaha... They celebrated my farewell in Fish & Co.. The funny thing is I didn't know why so many ppl turned out for the lunch. Some didn't even know who I am. snorez... but I got a free lunch! heehe...
This is my big boss... Haaha.. didn't know how come she know tt I was trying to take a picture of her. And she happily posed for it. heehe...
Haaha!! Can't imagine Eleen ordered this fish! It looks like a dish from the 10 course wedding dinner menu! lolz... and she had a hard time polishing this fish. It looks huge doesn't it? But doesn't seemt o have much meat on it though..
This is my birthday cake.. Its chocolate! I lurv it.. but they made me use my mouth to pick out the candle holder, which they pushed into the cake. I was so afraid tt Da Jie (who was holding the cake) may smash it in my face!

Yupz.. I have started on my new job, in a new environment, with new colleagues. Haizz.. my 1st wk at work sucks big time! My heart seemed to be beating very fast... and I need to wear a digital watch to work to remind me that i have to do different things at different time.
9, 10, 11, 12, 1pm have to collect the faxes and distribute it. This already took me about 20minutes (minimum). But this is not just my portfolio!
At 945, 12.45 and 3.45pm I have to pack the things ready for the courier man to send it to another office.
And sometimes I can walk out to the main door to collect reports sent by the courierman. Idiotic. That explains why I'm so tired by the time i reach hm.
Faintz... I have to keep reminding myself of the times I have to do these things.. and its making me bonkas. My chair doesn't have the chanced to be warmed up by my butt.. coz I keep walking ard and running ard doing all kinda stupid stuff.
I miss my ex-colleagues... haiz. Not tt my present colleague aint nice.. but sometimes i feel left out coz they maybe so busy until they're skipping lunch, or lunching in. So.. on wednesday I was having lunch alone. so pathetic huh?
I pray i'll be able to move out of this horrible place asap.
I've to report early to work tml coz my mentor will be on half day to attend a course. So... al the best to me huh? I hope I won't mess things up. Haiz...

This coming week is my last week wid SCB... went for dinner with my colleagues. Discussed with them.. they're all sad that i'm leaving. But since they can;t promise me anything, so i shld move on rite? I'll be back when the time is ripe. haaha
