Today is Monday, I spent yesterday nite watching the vcd Jin lent me. Its titled "My Lovely Sam Soon". Stayed up all nite to watch the vcd and slept at 6.30am coz I didnt want to be caught by my gramma, wait she nag n nag. haaha...
This story is abt this lady named Sam Soon, who hits 30 this yr, and she just broke up with her bf she met in Paris while she was thr learning to be a patissere (meaning a baker who specialise in French pastry). In the eyes of others, she's tall, plump, stupid and hopeless in lurv. hehhe.. and when she just broke up with her bf, she cried in the hotel toilet.. and being a blur queen. she entered the guys toilet. She cried so pitifully until some1 came knocking on the door. This guy (Jin Hun) happens to be her future boss. He hired her to do baking in his restaurant. Jin Hun comes from a wealthy family, and his family runs a hotel chain in Korea. And things starts happening btw them when this guy 'hired' her to be his gf so that his mom can stop making blind dates for him. He is ss0o cute and handsome.. but is cocky, spolit and rude, and 3 yrs younger in age than Sam Soon. He knows Sam Soon is so rite being his 'gf' coz he is sure he won't fall for such a person like her, and meanwhile, Sam Soon is also in need of $ to save the roof over her family's head. Hence, she agreed.
This guy's ex-gf (Hee Jin) came back from US.. but he didnt know she left him 3 yrs ago for US coz she needed to be operated for a gastric cancer, so he still hates her for being so cruel to leave him 3 yrs ago rite after he had an accident and needed to fix artificial bones in his left legs, that accident also killed his bro and sister-in-law. But after much shouting, screaming and crying, he came to realise tt. But just at this time, Sam Soon also started to fall in lurv with this man. To make things worse, Hee Jin's admirer also flew over to Korea to look for her. This admirer is Hee Jin's doctor in the US.
Hence while time goes by. they realise they have to proceed forward and to look at the future, rather than being in the present but living in the past, and everything is based on the past memories. So while Sam Soon and her boss realised tt they truly liked each other... Sam Soon's ex-bf came back and tried to break them up. Oh, did I mentioned tt Sam Soon's ex-bf is a flirt and a jerk? Lolz... Being engaged with Sam Soon's fren, he still wants to carry on seeing Sam Soon. Faintz... so thr exists a confusing and complicated lurv 5 triangle. haaha... But of coz.. the ending is always sweet!
Sam Soon ended up with what she wanted...
This is a nice show la.. maybe u gals can rent this vcd and watch it. haaha. Even my dad also didn't complain when me and my mom got engross with it. Heehe... thr are fights btw the guys here n thr, and also cat fights btw the gals... funny yet touching story. =)
It shows tt life isn't always a bed of roses.. but when we continue to persevere, we'll end up with what we really wanted so much for ourselves rite? Even if we may face obstacles tt make us feel like giving up. But maybe we shld really strive on... for what they always say 'U'll reap what u sow' ain't tt sound rite?

This straight-up means ur the most good-looking person possible... better than all of these other months! Loyal and generous. Patriotic. Competitive in everything. Active in games and interactions. Impatient and hasty. Ambitious. Influential in organizations. Fun to be with. Easy to talk to, though hard to understand. Thinks far with vision, yet complicated to know. Easily influenced by kindness. Polite and soft-spoken. Having lots of ideas. Sensitive. Active mind. Hesitating, tends to delay. Choosy and always wants the best. Temperamental. Funny and humorous. Loves to joke. Good debating skills. Has that someone always on his/her mind. Talkative. Daydreamer. Friendly. Knows how to make friends. Abiding. Able to show character. one guy/girl kind of person. Loveable. Easily hurt. Prone to getting colds. loves music. pretty/handsome. Loves to dress up. Easily bored. Fussy. Seldom shows emotions. Takes time to recover when hurt. Sensitive.
heyheyhey! this is so true woh... I mean, maybe i'm not tt gd looking and pretty of coz.. but den the description is alike! Although I don't think i maybe soft-spoken. Lolz.. but other than tt.. mostly quite true lei. =)
I'm so relieved that this nitemare is over... not that I may have another nitemare when the results are out, but somehow I think i'll be safe.. in the sense that i'll be able to pass my subjects. However, u can't be too sure abt it too! Just like what my younger bro keep saying to me. He is quite rite abt this, but also, he can't wait to see me fail, so he can laugh over my failure. U can see how evil and sinister my bros can be.. my elder bro even changed his password and deny me access to his lappy. So mean!! But den this morning he changed his mind and changed the password back to the old one. Hmmm... tts more like it..I think he can't stand me nagging and giving him a black face. Lolz...
Suddenly after the exams, I feel so carefree, and I have less nitemares and can sleep better in the nite. I don't know if I gace myself too much pressure this time round, but I really hope to do well. Ya, partly coz I really want to wear my graduation hat during the convocation, and partly wishing my gramma can take the photo with me. Many things happen over these few yrs, and they happen to quickly.. Sometimes I though I'll go crazy when I'm studying for my exams. I can just suddenly breakdown and to reminisce abt the old times. I really missed grampa, ah ma and my aunt. Actually more for my grampa... we really spent quality time together as a family. haizz...
Okies.. I really have not thought abt getitng myself a job. I'm really enjoying the freedom I've got rite now. Frankly speaking, I don't quite like being stucked in the office and when its time for lunch, i'll go outside and eat, then when time is up, i'll have to return to the office and slog my day infront of the computer. Thats not quite exactly what I want. I told Daddy whld really wish if I chld open my own shop and sell the things i want. Like baking and cooking nice pastries, pasta, and delicious desserts... And my dad and mom didn't quite disagree with me.They didn't chide me for being unrealistic...but then, having the capital and the capability is another thing. haiyoz...
Anyway, I'm looking forward to spending my holidays in Taiwan with J, too bad D can't join us, or else we'll have a great time thr! hmmm...

I get sick and tired whenever i have to pick up my esap notes to read thru them. Its just so sickening!! I mean, thr's so much to memorise, and i'm confused abt the format. I mean, i have frenz who already explained the format clearly to me, but i'm still confused. Sometimes i don't even know what the heck i'm confused abt. I think its becoz of the amt I've gota memorise. It just seemed so IMPOSSIBLE!! ya.. thr's this misson impossible 3 now going on in cinemas, and here i'mtlaking abt anoher misson impossible. Lolz... Well, what i'm suppose to do is to know all the weird and funny terms and memorise well for the essay rite? But I'm afraid of knowing only a few terms, and tt's not going to help me pull thru section A! coz section consists of qns from the whole subject... wah piangz.. =(
Oh by the way, esap stands for Elements of Social and Applied Psychology. Ya.. I'm becoming a psycho soon. Maybe i can soon understand what is everybody else thinking... ha! Mindreading... yeah. I also have frenz telling me that the marking for it isin't tt strict coz many of them scored quite well the previous yr. Hell of a heck... tt doesn't mean i'll do the same rite?
pray pray pray... and stillpraying. Hopefully this nitemare will end as quickly as possible. Daddy was telling me today, he offered to sponser for my Taiwan trip, as long as I did well for this final yr. Oh manz... and what if I didn't do as well as I ought to? "You can return me the $ lor..." Faintz.. I'd rather spend my own hard earned $ without guilt, rather than getting him to sponser me, only to spend it with fear and guilt that may eventually turn into disappointment! And instead of ging on a shopping spree i might end up flying home with all my money still in my pockets. But of coz.. who knows, if i really did well, I might go on another trip! hey... what a great idea! muaahahaaahaha....!! yah, I really hope so...
Everytime my cousin see me she'll ask "so are ur exams over?' arghh....! NO IT ISIN"T!!! How many times must i repeat myself, it'll only be over on June 14th. ya its quite unbelievable to see how hardworking all of us are now, when the exams only last for ard 2 wks! Ans to be exact, the examination is only held for 3 days only!! (I'm talking abt myself of coz...) 1st 2 papers all in a day, and the last 2 papers are only 1 days apart. How bad can their time management be? Shucks..! they shld go read up more abt tt...
Okies... back to my e..sa..p again. euwww... mental torment!! =(

I 1st received daddy's msg just when i was walking into the sch this morning... 2nd aunt was critical danger. I immediately called, and he was crying... saying the blood pressure was too low. Haiz.. duno y, history seem to repeat itself again. Just like when it was during my grampa's time. I called again later during my class break, and he told me the doctor said she won't be able to last thru today. And not long after the break... i receive the final news. My 2nd aunt just passed away.
My 2nd aunt just celebrated her 55th birthday in hospital the other day, I bought her a funny birthday card while daddy bought her a fruit cum bird nest cum flower basket. She really seemed happy... the last time I saw her was yesterday, she was still quite awake... but still quite breathless. Well, think i can save on the details.
Did I ever told u how did my christian name came abt? well... it was 2nd aunt who gave my this name 'Emily'. It stands for 'Every Minute I Love You'... haaha.. funny rite? I was told, when I was born, everyone thought i looked ugly... so they associated me with 2nd aunt, whom she herself also claimed that i'm even uglier than her! haizz...
She and my uncle were looking forward to spending their May holidays in Spain and Portugal... and now... haiz.
I once watched this show, the actress said something which I felt it was quite true.
She said, when those who are leaving, often are like kites flying with the wind.
But often they are held back, by those whom they loved and those who loved them, as if they are pulling onto the string attached to the kite.
Hence, they can't let go...
Therefore, we must learn to let go when it is time to do so, then they can fly with the wind, and land at a place wherever the wind brings them to, and settle there peacefully.
True huh? But how often isit when u'll use your mind to think esp when u are overcome by emotions?? Quite unlikely it seems...
Actually my 2nd aunt has always been soft-spoken... always encouraged me, believed in me. Even when she was in the hospital, i msg her to tell her not to giveup, we'll always be there for her. But instead, so asked abt my exams, how am i coping. I told her I'm fine, just a little stressed. And she said she believed I can do it, just like i always had.
So how can god take away such a nice person? But sometimes such things can't be explained.. when ur time is up, its time to say gdbye... We're are all very saddened by her sudden departure, we never meant to say gdbye. I didn't... tts y i left the hospital quietly yest, coz i didnt want to disturb her resting. Or maybe i shld.. haiz.
Life is so fragile... esp when anything can happen anytime, to anyone. Like my 2nd aunt, she was already suppose to enjoy her life...when both my cousins are already living quite well. My elder cousin is even pregnant with her 3rd child. A pity that the child couldn't have a chance to see his/her gramma. And my 2nd cousin was promoted recently...
So what I suggest to all my frenz, pls persuade your parents and grandparents to go for yearly full body checkup... esp when there is a history of sickness in your family genes.Pls don't try ti save such expenses coz it'll be even a larger amt when ur health deteroriates!! I think everytime when we regret, it is often too late to make amendments. So live your life well and strong, cherish every minute of it.
haizz... Hope she can find a peaceful place up there, wherever she is...She'll always be loved and living in our hearts.
In loving memory of my 2nd aunt,
Your niece whom you gave this name, I love this name very much and...
Thank u so much for believing in me...

I saw W online the other day... I duno y, but it always seem so coincidental that whenever I need come comfort or words of advice, W will pop out all of a sudden. ha... that was my initial impression of W when we were in jc. W was suppose to be from the Science stream when W changed and join the Arts stream, and suddenly just appeared in my class one day. Funny... some ppl think W is weird.. coz we just simply can't understand W's behaviour and actions. But still, we became friends, and even closer friends after we left jc. Actually, W is just being nice, W is always nice to everybody... (or else i thought so), haaha...
My mom & youngest aunt, even 2nd aunt herself is understanding to tell me to focus and concentrate on my exam preparation. Ya.. I do know my priorities... but I can't help feeling a little upset when I know I can't do much to help sharing their burden and worry. Ya, even if i'm free, i might not be able to offer much help either... coz i'm not god.. which sometimes i wish i was. Hopefully I'll be able to help out after my exams...
Heard tt 2nd aunt has started on her therapy yesterday, and she seemed to be in gd spirits and having a gd appetite. She had tomyam noodle for supper last nite... glad to hear tt. Today is her birthday, i wish she'll get well soon and be brave to fight against her sickness. We're quite a close nitted family... (or else I thought so)... =)
yawnz... sleeping is never enough for me. I took a nap the other day from 6 to 8pm and woke up feeling superb tired and lazy. Gramma was saying 'y don't u sleep longer so u won't feel so tired, and then u can concentrate better when ur studying?' hmmm... it does makes sense.. but!! How many hours are considered enough? Duhz... I'm someone who can sleep 12hrs straight and wake up still feeling tired. HHAAAHAH!!! Gd gracious... lolz

Things i want and wish:
1)score well for exams
2)be slimmer... faintz, i wish i won't outgrow my suit i bought for my future interviews
3)2nd aunt to be cured quickly and leave the dreadful hospital
4)holidays!!... my alisan-de-gu-niang
5)get a interesting job, work with fantastic and nice ppl and with a reasonable pay =)
6)catch up with all my frenz... sec, jc, temp job and uni mates! whr's the fun tt is missing? waiting to be found at the lost-n-found?
7)live happily ever after... (*sniggles)
Exams exams exams... I really hate it!! Why can't we go to sch without having exams and tests? Do exams really examine what we've learnt in sch? Or does it examine how much we can memorise and remember instead?
I'd rather live a life that all I need to do is to hunt for my own and family's food and live a life with no worries. Why doesn't anyone feel that we have to live a life worrying abt stuff in every stage of our life? Like when we're in pri to uni.. we have to worry abt exams, tests and sch. Then as we step into the society to work, we have to worry abt our pay, family, expenses. And as we grow even older, we have to worry abt ourselves, family, grandchildren... blah blah. Life is full of worries. Haaha, so thats why we have desserts 'tien ping' sold everywhere to sweeten our life.. isn't it? But then if we were to overeat the sweet stuff, we'll be down with diabetise. What an irony... =(
Tml is grampa's 2nd yr anniversary... Really miss him alot. Sometimes i'm still quite convinced that everything just happened yesterday, or rather nothing has happened. I still remember the pain... the anguish we all felt, the mental torment we had to go through. 2 years has passed so quickly... I was in Econs revision class when it happened. haiz...
Most prob tml i'll be going to de temple to pray my maternal grandmother too... she has left us for almost half a yr already. Sometimes i really wonder if this is all real, if its really true, does it really exist.
I think life is very unpredictable... sometimes things just happen so suddenly like it hits u so hard and fast on ur face. U can't avoid it... neither can u choose to hide away from it. So what do we do? Face the problem? But what are the consequences? The problem may still be there...
arghh... what a problematic world. sheesh....

Well well well... mocks are already over. CAN U BELIEVE HOW FAST TIME FLIES??! Yucks... I gotta admit how much I hate it manz... gotta do all the shitty work, memorising, studying, reading... everything revolve around me nowadays is exams, study, exams and more studying! Yeah... I went down to the another doctor on Wed... He sounded quite professional, but the young lady at the clinic who does the dispense of the medicine didnt tell me anything abt the pills making me drowsy. So i spent my whole Thurs lying ard.. with open eyes but a blank mind. Lolz...
Soon... the finals will be here. And even sooner... we'll be on our way outta s'pore, to celebrate the end of our studying life.. and that marks the start and beginning of a whole new chpt in our lives.. and tt is... WORK!! Hopefully everything goes on smoothly...
I was clearing my emails when i came across a mail from friendster. Apparently W had sent me a msg... well... I was kinda surprised.. It was really a pleasant surprised. Hahaaha.. made me think tt befriending a person like him is kinda a blessing.. God gave us friends so we won't be lonely, so tt we have someone to share our ups and downs. And of coz... I noe.. I have more than 1 such gd friend. Hehhe...!
So everybody... who thinks he/she is my friend... I wana say a BIG thank u... Lets all work hard for this final exam.. and for those who are already working, hope u'll get a big fat bonus and those who are not spared from being stuck in the s'pore education system... All the best!! =)
I really hope I can do well and pass with a tiny weeny bit of 'flying colours'. Lolz... A once told me he has higher expectations and confidence in me more than himself.Hopefully I'll be able to prove him rite. haaha... funny.

Daddy and mummy with the pork seller. They seem to know the couple who was selling pork at the local mkt...

This is the supposedly 'old folks home'. haaha... The elderly men always gather here for a puff, to watch tv, or just to play chess... =)

These are the women from the family... so many huh? lolz...
5 daughter-in-laws and 2 daughters. Aiyoz.. so many.

Fire crackers!!! yeah... my cousin had a great deal of fun playing with different kind of fire crackers. Some how, I didnt have the enthusiasm like him. Perhaps I've really grown up??

A table of handsome guys... muaahaha... All of them call me their 'gu gu' which means aunt. ! of them really looked like a HK actor. They are all young and promising... 2 already in uni, 1 in jc and 1 in sec sch.

This is the temple we went to pray. It drizzled the whole day, making the temperature to drop to almost 15degrees. And mind u, 15degrees there is so much different from the 15degrees your aircon can go. It is so much cooler! I had to wear 4 layers to keep myself warm enough.

No la, this is not Great wall of China... I just posed for fun coz my mom said the red lanterns look pretty... faintz... haahaha.

EEkks!! Help I forgot to close the door!! haaha... faintz
Can't u see I still had my pants on? duhz...
My mom had a hard time controlling her laughter and taking this picture for me. Lolz.. We went to this porcelain gallery to take alook at what China make out of the porcelain they got.

Actually the streets in China reminded me of those in HK. they look similar aint they? Only that the streets in China have many motorcars parked outside the shops... they just don't care.
Note: they lurv to sound their honk.

We reached Guang Zhou at abt 3pm.. and booked a van immediately to bring us to Shan Tou. But quite unfortunately, the drivers didn't exactly know where the village was... so by the time we realy reached our final destination, it was already 10.10pm.. we didn't even had our dinner!! But our relatives immediately prepared some food for us.. much to my horror, they put lamb meat into the steamboat.. and hence everything tasted weird. So I swallowed a few fishballs and quickly drank the bowl of plain porridge.

This picture was taken when we stopped midway at Shan-Wei. The journey from Guang Zhou to Shan Wei took ard 3hrs. Faintz... My butt really hurts. Lolz..
And I was quite tired so I decided to get down the van and take some pictures. i was the camera lady for the whole trip.

This is for self entertainment purpose. Hahhaz... u can ignore this photo.

This is my irritating, yet adorable cousin. He likes to hug me.. duno y, perhaps becoz I'm very hugable like a bear... Trhoughout the trip he keeps yelling for me "Emily jiejie! Emily jiejie!' Sometimes can't tahan him. Sometimes he glares at me with his superb big eyes.. sometimes he like to make funny faces at me. See...! He even stole my snoopy pillow. =(
He is also superb duperb vain pot. Likes to pose for the camera... tsk tsk tsk.

This is the place we pray.. its called 'Ci Tang'. I duno what u call this in English...Ancestral hall?? Think they've renovated this place.. coz it looks quite new.

Do they look alike? Of coz la... They're siblings mah! My big aunt is now staying in China, with 5 sons and 2 daughters. Lucky aint she?
From left to rite: my uncle, my mom, 2nd aunt and big aunt
So while resting today, I went back to youtube.com to check if they have upload the 2 final episode of 'It started with a kiss' Taiwan drama series. And they did!! I really tihink its a nice show... like those u watch on tv. This show was aired on tv once many yrs ago in Jap version...
This is the finale of the show, when the guy realised he can't hide his feelings and to marry another gal just to save his dad's company.
I like the ending... and I think it is quite cute and funny. Hahha.
Enjoy!!
Sunday, February 12, 2006
Well, well... I think I've been in constant attention and figure of the discussions amongst the gals.. I think the reason for them to nag is becoz V day is ard the corner. Sorry I've gota use the word 'nag' coz u gals really can be longwinded at times. But thanx.. I'm appreciative of ur love, care and attention. Thanx gals!
Anyway, I'll be away from town starting frm this coming wed till nxt mon.. coz i'll be going on a short tripto China. Supposedly to attend my uncle's wedding.... BUT! they've postponed it..and we've already bought the air tickets. So now instead of going to Guang Zhou, we're going to Shan Tou.. My ah gong's hometown. Cool huh? I've never been thr...and this will be my virgin trip thr.. and 1st time i'll be seeing my relatives who speak Teo Chew..
Teo Chew is a language I find difficult to master since young... My late ah ma used to luff at my silliness... having to greet her 'happy chi new yr' at her birthday.. and greeting 'happy birthday' when it is during the new yr. Haaha... I thought I've always got it rite, coz I'll practise on the way to her house in daddy's car. Nevermind abt getting it wrong in the future.. haiz, coz I won't get to greet her again.
And time really flies... it'll be prelims in 2 wks time.. and den finals will come greeting us! arghh... stress stress....!!
Lastly, Happy Valentine's Day to all my frenz who are attached.. and those who are not, don't worry.. V day is also known as friendship day. So just enjoy this day with ur gd pals.. it's been a while since u all last catch up rite? hehhe...
Friday, February 03, 2006
I wonder what is everyone thinking of nowadays.. is it coz V day is coming soon or what? They seem very keen to ask me to get myself a partner. FAINTZ... even my mom also does that. TIAN AHH...!!! Recently, one of my gf got attached.. and that prompted them toask when am I gona be like them. Why? I'm happily enjoying my freedom being single... I suppose thr are pros and cons abt being single and being attached. So why not let me enjoy my singlehood? Let me clarify myself.. I dont spend my every V day alone. V day is also friendship day! So its the time we 3 meet up and enjoy our yaya sistahood. lolz...
My mom just told me her colleague (aunt Jas) saw the photos we took in Korea.. and she commented I look like a 'fu puo' - meaning rich lady in translation. FAINTZ... and this aunt Jas happened to be from the women'sassociation or some sort of thingy. I had a gd laugh over it manz... funny.
Well, everything goes down to 'fate' rite? If things are meant to come, it'll come... But I really appreciate my gfs fussing over me. thanx ah...! but yet, no thanx... haaha.
Happy Chinese new yr everyone!
cheers! =)

Life is just so fragile... I have never thought of how I shld go abt living my life until grampa's death... his death sort of shook me up from my dreams. Until now when my wai po also left me last yr, then I only realised that how much isit I cherished those who lived with me.. My gramma is 90/91 yrs old this yr... Thus, I'm always convincing myself she's gona lived for many yrs since she is still quite fit now. But den, the death of 4th granduncle has proven me quite wrong. 4th granduncle had been known for his gd health... he's always been travelling almost every yr back to his home town Guang Zhou to celebrate Chinese New Yr. Only recently he has been admitted hospital several times for his heart problems. But from what I heard during the funeral, my 4th granduncle was still joking happily with his grandson on that very fateful morning. And it was during the late evening that he suddenly felt unwell... the ambulance came only 30mins later, and he passed away on the way to the hospital.. they couldn't revive him.
Looking at him... it reminded us of my late grampa. 4th granduncle really somehow or another, looked like grampa. Yes, there is no doubt they were brothers... but 4th granduncle somewhat didnt look like himself... but like grampa! Maybe we're just letting our imaginations run wild... but the resemblance was uncanny.
U know, sometimes this kinda stuff is just so unexplanable... I just don't know how to go abt explaning it.
Before I could leave my hse yesterday to head to sch, daddy told me my mom's god brother passed away too. I really hate to receive such news... especially when its near my exam time, be it just the prilims or the final exam. I really hate it... This is the father of my cousin who just got married recently. She was the one who had her marriage held at Fullerton... See... how brittle is life. Heard from mom that he passed away from heart problems too. And the sad part was his heart problems hasn't been a problem for many yrs already, and it just acted up like that all of a sudden.
I was told my cousin was hoping mad, jumping and crying... scolding those who were trying to convince her that her father has passed away. I think its really hard on her family. My this uncle has only 1 daughter... and she only just got married. And the worse of all... she's only in her late twenties... How bad can u imagine its for her?
I'm always thinking how whld react if I were to be in ppl's shoes... I don't have any sister... and usually for this kinda stuff, guys don't always show how sad they are on the outside. they'll only feel very sad on the inside.
I don't want to live my life full of regrets... sometimes there are just somethings I can't let go.. Nevermind that I can put it aside for moments that I am happy... But whenever I'm sad or simply just stressed, these memories just resurfaced very quickly...
I think I ain't the only person who feel this way... but yet sometimes I feel that I am the only perosn who feel this way. How weird...

I've looked through all the photos I took in Korea and wondered why I look so ugly in many of them.. sianz. Lolz.. I think I still look ok at the airport.. But as days passed, I look iglier and uglier. Of coz u all will disagree with me.. tts becoz I refused to upload those photos with me looking ugly in them. hahha...

1 person 1luggage... so in total there were 3...

Hey ppl... wat does these 2 statue remind u off? The tour guide told us the folks over at Jeju Island touch these 2 statues when a woman in their home is pregnant. So indeed they want the woman to give birth to a son...If I didnt remember wrongly by touching the statue on the rite represent that u want your future son to be gd in his studies... i.e a scholar, and the statue on the left represent that u want your future son to be gd in other areas like i.e to be a policeman, a civil defence officer. Aiya.. I duno how to explain la..!

These are trees as u can see... they look like autumn leaves and dried flowers. Beautiful aren't they? I can consider going to these countries with 4 season during autumn, spring and summer. Frankly speaking, spending a wk over at korea during their winter season left me feeling kinda blue. Mood swing??

I took a picture of this carasoul at Lotte World. I really think it is beautiful... (I'm jealous of Hui's present!! -_- ) Anyway, I didnt had a chance to sit this...we weren't given enough time..no time... no time la...!!

We stayed in this hotel on the very last nitw.. I lurv their toilet! So big!!! The toilet only has 2 doors to keep it closed and mind u, there is still a gap inbtw the toilet doors even when u close it shut. haaha...

And on the left hand side of the toilet is a bath tub... But pity I didnt shower in there. lolz...

On the rite side of the toilet is the toilet seat and also a shower stand. Cool huh? okies la, I'm always amazed and fascinated by big toilets. Lolz.. Don't think I can tell u all which hotel is this, but I can tell u personally la. A hint... it starts with a letter 'M'..... money?? Lolz.

Yes.. I was trying very hard to open my eyes. But the sun was shining in my direction, the relfection from the snow also made it hard for me to open my small eyes. -_- haahaha...
Behind me was the steeper slopes meant for the pro-er skiiers and snowboarders. They're all so darn cool manz!

Hows me in my ski suit? I look pro rite? Lolz...
Tts my mom, me and Ar.

This picture was taken in a stidio where we also learned to make kimchi. I was at 1st given a pink dress, but becoz i had too many layers of clothing, i couldn't arms couldn't quite fit into it. So in the end i had to take away my wool sweater. But this red and green one looks nice ya? But I duno why we were asked to wear the hat... I don't rem the actress in Da Chang Jin wearing one. hehhe...

Sorry Je... I really didn't see any shops selling these tradtional costumes. This studio only rent their costumes, they don't sell it. The places they brought us to all sold winter wear...
How do I look? U know.. the funny part abt the aunties in our tour grp is that they all thought I was around 16/17 yrs of age. Do I really look tt young? 1 auntie tot I was in sec 4! While the other one tot I was in poly... faintzz..

My mom and I are now standin infront of the Korean presidential house. The security is very tight. We were told we can only use cameras, no video filming was allowed.
Look at the picture, can u see 2 big protruding eyes on the rite side of the mountain at the back?

We are standing on a bridge at Lotte World... Beautiful isin't?

LOOK LOOK!!! Its snowing!! Lolz... Look carefully and u can see the snow flakes on our head. Luckily for us, it started snowing on the very last day when we were due to return to S'pore. I looked a little pale in this picture coz I wasn't feeling very well...puked in the morning after drinking the soya bean milk. Aint Sh's eyes big? Haaha... Bro..ur really lucky!! =)

I didnt realise it started snowing until the kids in the bus were screaming their heads off. Coz i was resting on the bus after taking the vomit and panadols. At 1st when i stared out of the window... I really tot it was raining. The snow flakes became waterdroplets once it touched the bus windows. I went down the bus to take a better look. Can u see the snowflakes around me?? =)

Now presenting the long awaited photos of my Korea trip.. TADAAA!!!
We took this picture near the sea as u can see.. It was freaking cold, and the sea breeze made things worse.. the breeze blew straight into our faces. Guess how many layers I was wearing?? Lolz...
Tts me, Aaron, mom and bro's gf (Shumei)..
Hahha.. I looked a little dishevelled in this picture rite? Superb ugly... But I loved the background. Temperature hit a minimum of -8degrees in the nite, can't help but to look like this. Besides... I didn't slap on powder on my face.. which i kinda regretted. It may look nicer.. But in winter time, it is too dry to put powder coz the powder may dry up and cake on the face. =(
I guess it used to be a waterfall in the background, but the it froze during winter time.. hence explaining the frozen water on the rocks. BbRrr... freezing!!
This picture was taken on the day we went skiing at nxt to Vivaldi Ski resort (tts whr we were stayed). It is snow u see on our rite hand side and at the back is mountains. Pretty isin't? But the temperature forced us to put on our winter caps, which i tot it made me look silly. It looked great on Sh, Ar and mom.
I pursuaded my elder bro alvin totake this picture for me. I was very 'bu fu qi' coz I was too clumsy.. couldn't climb onto this big heap of snow. They were laughing at me, mom and Sh tried giving me a helping hand, but I still slipped and fell so many times until i gave up. Lolz... Pls pardon the reflecting badge on the wind breaker.

1)it was darn cold... esp the day before it snowed.. it was practically FREEZING!
2)my younger bro keep irritating me, and I also quarrelled with my elder bro over some petty little things =(
3)on the very day tt we were suppose to fly back to s'pore, I puke in the morning.. haizz...
4)we had to board the plane 4 times within 8 days of the trip..and this really made me superb tiring
5)everything was very rush..we had to wake up at 5+/6am (s'pore time) almost everyday
6)despite having the ticket tt allowed us to each enjoy 5 rides at the theme parks, we weren't given enough time to sit all 5!
7)the queues at the theme parks were so long.. despite the weather.. snorezz
8)we had pork most of the lunch and dinners.. and I'm quite sick of meat now, pls don't ask me to eat red meat!
But despite all these stupid little things tt made me sulk and frown.. I still did enjoy little tiny whiney parts of the journey.. like:
1)getting to watch movies on board the plane like Mr Bean, Must love dogs, Fantastic 4, The Interpreter..blah blah
2)we went to spa valley.. (I did a full body scrub, it was suppose to be a little painful, but I ended giggling and trying my best to stifle my laughter.. it was darn itchy..
3)my bros, my mom and bro's gf decided to go for the ride at Lotte World called 'Gyro Swing'.. it was superb fun... felt like I was gona thrown into the ice cold river.. for another moment, I tot I was jumping off the building. Hahha.. exciting isin't?
4)I get to eat ice cream almost everyday for the past 8 days there... it was shiok to eat ice cream in the cold weather
5)trying my best to speak Korean so as to impress the aunties there.. to gimme further discount. hahha
6)Oh ya, for the spa valley thingy, I also get to experience a different kind of spa.. having soak my body in hot water, while the top part is exposed to open cold air..
8)the last day we stayed at korea's Marriott Hotel.. I think so far it was the best hotel with ultra big toilet.. Lolz
9)pretending to be Korean, but was stunned and confused when they speak korean to me... I'm lost!
Anyway... It was such a wonderful experience la. But I duno why, perhaps it was the cold weather tt made me long for home. I was kinda home sick... silly isin't it? =)
Now it is Korean speaking lesson time..Lesson no1:
1) Auntie = Ah-zhu-ma
2) uncle = Ah-zao-si
3) gal/young lady = Ah-ga-shi
4) expensive = bi-sai-yo
5) how much? = er-zhu-ma
5) yes = yeah
6) no = ah-ni
muaahahaa... anyway, the stuff there in korea was quite expensive.. due to different cultures I must say. To us S'poreans, We regard food as being more impt. But to the Koreans, they regard fashion how you dress) as being more impt. It represents how you carry yourself.. and how you want others to respect you. Hence, the Koreans always dress very nicely despite even having to go to the nearby family mart for an errand. And also... the Korean gals have superb fair and nice skin! *Jealous jealous* *admire admire* haizz...
I shall post my pictures once I can find the time.. and the energy.. Lolz.
